Demolition

Aidan is officially moved into our room and demolition is done. We had way too much fun knocking down his walls, tearing out insulation, ripping up nails and choosing tile for the floor.

Demo Day 001

So now we’re living in a construction zone. It’s a bit dirty and chilly but it’s also a big adventure.

Yes, this is me in my PJs on demolition day. In my defense, I was getting information and being helpful. The best part of this project is that everyone has something different to contribute.

This is Aidan in the space where his new shower will be. He thinks it’s all fantastic!

Next up in the following two weeks the plumbers and electricians will have at the bathroom, and insulation and sheetrock will be hung.

Please take a moment to share this story with your friends. The bathroom is on schedule to be finished in early March when Aidan goes to the hospital. We’re hoping to continue with construction at the front of the house and have everything complete by early summer, but we still need materials.
